Privacy Policy

Updated: February 14, 2026

Unitage.org and the Unitage Distill extension respect your privacy. We collect the minimum data necessary for the service to function.

What data we collect

  • Unitage.org: no registration required to read materials. We do not use tracking cookies.
  • Unitage Distill: the extension does not collect, store, or transmit personal user data.
  • We do not collect: names, emails, IP addresses, browsing history, location data.

How Unitage Distill works

  • Your selected text is sent directly to the Anthropic (Claude) API for analysis.
  • The text is not stored on our servers — it is sent to the API and discarded after receiving the response.
  • Analysis results are stored only locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local).
  • The API key is stored in the extension code. We do not share it with third parties.

Data storage and deletion

  • Analysis results are stored only on your device and are automatically replaced with each new analysis.
  • You can delete all extension data through your browser settings.
  • We do not keep logs of user queries.

Third parties
